Current customers may open a CD account by providing the following information. If you are not already a Union Bank of California customer, or if you need assistance filling out this request, please call (800) 849-6466, option 5, weekdays between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. Pacific Time, and a Customer Service Associate will be happy to assist you.

CDs are available for terms between 7 days and 5 years. If you intend to fund this CD account via a wire transfer or by sending a check via US Mail, the CD will not be placed until funds are received. If you choose to transfer funds from an existing UBOC account, the CD account must have the same Account Name and Tax ID.

Important information about procedures for opening a new account
To help the government fight the funding of terrorism and money laundering activities, Federal law requires all financial institutions to obtain, verify, and record information that identifies each person and/or entity who opens an account.
