Current customers may open a new account by providing the following information. If you are not currently a Union Bank of California customer, or if you need assistance filling out this request, please call (800) 849-6466 option 5 weekdays between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. Pacific Time, and a Customer Service Associate will be happy to assist you.  
In order to complete the opening of your account, please download, fill out and submit a Depositor Agreement (signature card). Please include a copy of the Association's Articles of Incorporation, if applicable, with your Depositor Agreement. Important information about procedures for opending a new account
 
To help the government fight the funding of terrorism and money laundering activities, Federal law requires all financial institutions to obtain, verify, and record information that identifies each person and/or entity who opens an account.  
What this means to you: When you open an account, we will ask for your name, address, date of birth (for individuals) and other information that will allow us to identify you. We may also ask to see your driver's license or other identifying document.
